What are Sustainable Trophies?
Sustainable trophies are essentially trophies that have been crafted from eco-friendly materials and sustainable processes. They are designed to recognize and celebrate achievements of all kinds, while also reducing environmental impact. Eclipse Awards makes sustainable trophies from materials such as recycled glass and reclaimed wood from salvaged, windfallen trees. Our specialty is Big Leaf Maple (Acer macrophyllum) because of its warm wood grain, its beautifully distinctive bark, and the fact that it is both native to and abundant in Southwestern BC. We also feature awards made from Chocolate Walnut and Blueberry Pine (pinebeetle wood), all salvaged from BC’s Fraser Valley. We even offer recycled glass awards which are made from glass offcuts.
To add to the sustainability story, all our wooden trophies are personalized with green energy! Our equipment is powered by rooftop solar panels, which means anything you order with solar laser engraving is marked with clean power, direct from the sun! Solar laser engraving is a great marking option because it adds a layer of meaning to the awards. People love knowing their awards are infused with clean solar energy!

Sustainable trophies cost between $90 to $350 each, with options at every price point and some beyond. Cost is determined by size, shape, species, finish of the wood, and how quickly it has to be delivered.
Eclipse Awards offers personalized eco-friendly trophies at fixed, all-in prices to remove uncertainty from budgeting. Our prices include all layout and design, digital artwork proofs, individual personalization, solar laser engraving, and guaranteed on-time delivery. Only shipping is extra. With no setup charges or hidden fees, you can order with confidence knowing the price you see is the price you will pay!
Pro tip! Ordering “off-the-shelf” wood plaques from our catalog saves you both time and money because the product design has already been done. We simply create custom artwork for your chosen pieces, then laser engrave that artwork to produce beautiful wood plaques, branded and personalized exactly as you wish.
We do not charge taxes on any orders shipped directly to the US or Internationally. However, taxes are applied to orders shipped within Canada, determined by the province of delivery.
How to order sustainable awards?
There are 3 ways to order custom sustainable trophies from Eclipse Awards:
- Web: visit www.eclipseawards.com and add your wood or recycled glass awards to your cart. Add your personalization details during the checkout process, or email them to us later. Once we have received your details our graphics department will create an artwork proof for you to review. You can request unlimited changes to your layout at no charge, and we never produce anything until we have your signed artwork approval.
- Email: your details to orders@eclipseawards.com with as much or as little as you have available. Your dedicated service representative will follow up to gather any remaining details and get your order underway.
- Phone: call us at 888-294-7121 and speak to real people who are here to help you.
However you choose to order, the first thing you will see from us is an email order confirmation summarizing your order and timeline. If any details are missing, we will reach out to you to gather them. Then we begin a design process to create the custom artwork for your wood plaques, which we email you as a digital artwork proof (pdf). Please review your artwork proof as soon as possible to keep your order moving. You can either approve it if everything looks good, or request design changes. We offer unlimited design revisions at no charge, until you approve your artwork proof. Note that we cannot start engraving your order until you have approved your artwork.
Once you approve your artwork, no further design changes are possible because production begins immediately. We then engrave your wood plaques, clean them, inspect them for quality, safely pack them for shipping, then let you know when your order ships out.
Throughout the whole order process, we keep you in the loop with a series of email updates that let you know what stage you are at. Of course you’re always free to check in on the status of your order anytime by phone or email!

Over the years, we’ve continually reviewed our processes and taken steps to reduce our energy use where possible. Then we secure green energy sources for the remaining electricity and natural gas that we consume. In 2019 we installed a photovoltaic solar panel system on our rooftop, which generates clean solar energy to power our laser engraver and other equipment! And we plant two trees per every award you order to help revitalize environments and communities.
